Who We Are
The SPBFC is an independent, evangelical church, located in St. Pierre Jolys, MB, Canada. We have a congregation of around 200 people with many families and children. Our church was founded in 1977, and was born out of the dreams and prayers of a group of 15-20 local people. We believe God cares about people and wants to make a difference in their lives. So our church strives to help people encounter the reality of Jesus Christ, and through Him see their lives changed for the better.
What to Expect
When you come to St.Pierre Bible Fellowship Church you will quickly find a warm, friendly group of people committed to making church exciting, life changing, and enjoyable.
Our Sunday morning services are contemporary and designed to include the whole family. The service starts at 10am with contemporary worship, followed by a time of relevant biblical teaching. Sunday School programs are available for children and youth during the teaching time. The service is approximately 90 minutes in length. We also have greeters that can help direct you as needed, and answer any questions you may have. After the service we offer coffee and tea, and all are welcome to stay and enjoy the fellowship.
What is there for kids?
Each age group has a Sunday morning program designed to meet the unique needs of that age. Jr. Church greeters will be able to assist you with any other questions you may have.
Not ready to put your child in children’s ministry? We have Nursery just off the sanctuary where you can still enjoy the service
Not only is youth programming offered on Sunday mornings during the teaching time (XP3), but there are also regular youth events held during the week.
Junior Youth (Grades 6-8) meets weekly for a variety of programs and events catered to their age. Senior Youth also meets weekly on Sunday evenings to learn and grow together as young people.
What We Offer
Our church is led by a staff team consisting of:
- a full time community life pastor who oversees the church, and congregational care.
- a full time associate pastor who directs specific programming for the youth and young people in the church as well as contributing to overall church programs
- a part-time Children's Director who organizes and leads our vibrant children's programming
- a part-time secretary who oversees the administrative side of the church
Much of our programming is volunteer driven, and there are several worship teams that share leading the Sunday morning praise and worship. The church has sent out and supports international, national, provincial, and local missionaries. A large percent of the congregation are actively involved in one or more areas of ministry. The church is housed in a new building (completed in 2005), and we embrace a welcoming and contemporary atmosphere. Please join us for a service, 10am every Sunday.
